Our facility is engaged in all aspects of bird, small mammal, reptile, amphibian and ornamental fish medicine and surgery with respect to services, teaching and research.

Services

Ornamental birds (including zoo birds, wild birds and birds of prey, as well as pigeons), poultry, small mammals, reptiles and amphibians, as well as ornamental fish, are cared for in different working areas.

Due to the large number of animal species-specific characteristics, a rapid and effective emergency diagnosis is essential. This is ensured through close networking with the clinical facilities of the in-house laboratories for virology, bacteriology and mycology, as well as parasitology. As an integral part of the existing diagnostics, post-clinical examinations are carried out in pathology with histology.

The full range of services of all of our fields of work is also available to veterinarians in private practice and patient owners within the context of services. We are happy to accept samples sent in for investigation.
